The Hotel Terraces Week in Barcelona celebrates its 15th anniversary from May 29 to June 7, 2026. This initiative by the Gremi d’Hotels de Barcelona, organized in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council, transforms rooftops into accessible public spaces.
The event features 58 participating hotels across the city and sponsorship from El Perro Verde winery. Over 10 days, the agenda covers 2 full weekends aiming to integrate these venues into the social life of the residents. Access to the terraces and participation in the scheduled events are free for all attendees. Guests only pay for the food and drink orders they choose to make individually. The success of previous editions consolidates this event as the official start of the summer calendar in the Catalan capital.
Program with tastings and live music in the heights
The event gathers more than 120 activities designed for different audiences.
The gastronomic block includes wine, beer, cheese, and cold meat tastings, as well as cocktail workshops, tallers de fermentació (fermentation workshops), and cooking demonstrations such as preparing steak tartar.
Live music plays a central role with Catalan rumba, jazz, bossa nova, DJ sessions, and tribute concerts (such as to Amy Winehouse).
The schedule also incorporates wellness activities like yoga, pilates, and barre fit sessions.
Hotels add family workshops for watercolor, ceramics, and magic shows.
Venues like Catalonia Ramblas, Ohla Barcelona, ME Barcelona, The Hoxton Poblenou, Majestic, and the newly opened SLS Barcelona concentrate the program. June 4 and 5 will hold the highest volume of events and workshops during this 15th edition.
Booking management through the official platform
Terrace access is free, though most activities have limited capacity and require mandatory prior registration.
The Gremi d’Hotels de Barcelona centralizes the full schedule and booking links through its official website mesqhotels.cat. Users can also download the complete agenda in PDF format or check detailed maps and summaries on the irbarcelona.org platform. This digital coordination allows citizens to plan their visits and secure slots for the gastronomic and cultural workshops. The architectural and landscape viewpoint offers panoramic views of the historic center, the seafront, and the mountains from unusual perspectives. The initiative maintains an organized format that guarantees smooth hospitality services and attendee comfort.
